promoting events over the summer seems almost pointless but now it’s september it feels a rush! anyway there are two gatherings i am going to and involved in that i wanted to to tell you about but have waited until now.

the first is multiply pioneer on oct 17 in london. it’s a collaboration between ccx, cms, methodist pioneers, baptist pioneers, fresh expressions. if you have been to ccx events before and are worried this will be a worship band, big church culture and all that it won’t. it’s been designed and planned by pioneers with phil hoyle at the helm. i am looking forward to it and will be chipping in a reflection from fringe dweller.

secondly our annual gathering for pioneers, fringe dwellers, changemakers, midwives of the new is the assembly and runs 17-19 november at ashburnham in sussex. following on from last year’s them of decolonizing mission we will be exploring what spirituality might be fit for the future coming towards us.

whenever i speak with follow pioneers the one thing they say more than anything else is that they need to or want to or know that it is good for them to connect with others… so here are a couple of great chances to do exactly that. anyone is welcome to attend either or both.
