Spiritual Direction
l offer spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition. That may or may not mean anything to you – it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t. But the heart of the matter is that spiritual direction is a space to explore your personal relationship with God and noticing how God is at work in your everyday life.
I am a licensed lay minister in the Church of England. I trained in Spiritual Direction through St Beuno’s Jesuit Spirituality Centre in North Wales. I have spent all but one year in my working life in mission and ministry work. Currently I am Britain Hub director with Church Mission Society where I support, train and encourage pioneers. I have a spiritual director myself and supervision.
I have found that having spiritual direction myself has been profoundly helpful especially for me as a pioneer who does not fit the routine flow of life in the church space. I trained because I wanted to be able to offer the same to others in that same scenario. I imagine being particularly able to accompany you if you are a pioneer though you don’t have to be. I am also very open to accompanying spiritual seekers, or those who might describe as spiritual but not religious.
If you are reading this as a friend of mine, then the wisdom is that I am not the best person to accompany you as it crosses boundaries but I would be very open to talking with you about it and perhaps helping connect you with someone else.
If you are interested in finding out more get in touch via the contact page. We would have an initial conversation to see if it seems a good fit and go from there with a few sessions which we would then review. It could be face to face, online or a combination of the two depending on where you are located.
