had the granddaughters staying sat night. as ever was fun hanging out. on sunday we did junior parkrun in ealing which is 2k. i was told by flo (aged 9) i would be left for dust. not quite ready for such humiliation i did my best to keep up over 2k and just hung on. i was honestly running at a pretty max pace to keep up.

this is how i looked at the end. i suspect that may be the last time i keep up. she was clearly keen to drop me as she smashed 40 seconds off her pb (running at 4mins 40secs per kilometre which is pretty good aged 9 or any age for that matter)!
