i was in paraguay with cms in september (which i have yet to share photos and blog about). while i was there i met wonderful people connected with cms round the world, including some of the people involved in pioneering in latin america with cms. i really got on well with them and one of the team karol is an artist in lima, peru. we got talking about photography and i showed some photos of our exhibtion. as a result she invited me to submit an entry to take part in an exhibtion tercera persona in lima, peru in a gallery she works at. so to cut a long story short i have a triptych that will be in a show in peru starting this weekend. it is very unexpected, just one of life’s surprises. sadly i won’t be there for the opening but look forward to seeing photos of the exhibtion.

tercera persona means third person and the brief says this…

an exhibition that explores, from a contemporary art perspective, the presence, manifestation, and action of the third person of the Trinity. Far from traditional religious illustration, we seek works that dialogue with the mystery of this spiritual force; a power described in scripture as movement, fire, breath, comfort, guidance, and creative rapture.
