i gave a webinar about fringe dweller for beyond the walls. most of the things i have done have been very conversational and interactive so it was a good challenge to do something a bit more presentational. it’s in four chunks – an introduction, and then i answer these three questions:

• how might dwelling on jesus’ encounters with those at the fringes open up imagination for our own practice and ministry?
• does the lens of fringe dwelling have anything to fresh to say to us about jesus and about being disciples?
• how might we read the scriptures , particularly gospel stories, in participative ways in our communities?
