such a good evening at grace last night. we had a fundraising meal for gaza cooked by palestinian sally. i love it when we just have a table down the middle of the church – it always looks magical. celebrating palestinian culture – food, art, music, storytelling may not feel like much and we all feel pretty impotent but it is an important act of solidarity when there has been so much destruction of palestinian land and culture. proceeds from the night went to the amos trust.
