it’s not all good news, it’s only a move in the UK as far as I know, and over here in the AU and NZ Cadbury’s is now using Palm Oil in their recipe, a particularly bad environmental move (as well as not being fair trade).
part of the irony is that Cadbury’s here seems to be using less actual cocoa and replacing it with the oils… if they continue to remove the cocoa it’ll cease being chocolate :/
I am glad Cadburys are starting to make steps in the right direction and perhaps the first big producer to do so. I still find it amusing when a brand or shop brings out a fair trade ‘range’. So it is OK to rip people off with the rest of their products?
