couldn’t resist calling in at the tate modern after work today to see the new slides in the turbine hall – test site by carsten holler. one of the things i love about that space is how a lot of the things done there have been good fun for all ages. everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. is it art? who cares…

I am almost tempted to pop over from the emerald isle just to enjoy the ride.
I sometimes find it hard to connect with people who are determined to have the “that is not art” or “that is not jazz” type discussions. It’s not an abstract point because quite a few theologians I have meet, especially ones with a conservative evangelical bent, seem to think in those ways.
as you say – who cares, I’d like to slide down though …
