took the greenbelt service theme of slow only this time it was less of a rush so we could linger with the various parts of the service. good to be back into action for what feels like a new season. we are going to be spending some time rethinking grace and where we are headed. one of the changes is that we are moving the gracelet service on the fourth sunday back to the church. we have been meeting in peoples houses for a meal and prayer and bread and wine. but we have decided to try it back at the church. so if you are around on the fourth sunday of the month feel free to join us at 8pm for gracelet which is a smaller scale short service. it will often be a communion/eucharist but we haven’t planned the details yet.

“took the greenbelt service theme of slow only this time it was less of a rush…” looks like you’re really gtting the hang of your theme, then!
There’s some good reading on slowing down around at the moment. I think I’ll clear a fortnight to read it all…. see here: http://books.guardian.co.uk/reviews/politicsphilosophyandsociety/0,6121,1301648,00.html
