I’m going to the NYC Figment fest (http://figmentnyc.org/2009/) today where supposedly Steve is doing some collaborative art project. He’s doing a lecture tomorrow but there’s rain scheduled (we’re having a very English June) and as this is all outdoors I rather soak it in than get soaked.
I prefer the sign my friend saw on a beach somewhere in the South West that said , ‘The Ocean is not a swimming pool.’ It has a koan like quality…
BTW-didn’t connect with Steve’s work (maybe they canceled it due to the rain/drizzle). My favorite group I found is The Wooster Collective (http://www.woostercollective.com). You’d love their stuff if you haven’t seen it already.
