there is a new role currently advertised to take on the lead of our pioneer mission training. that will be working with me in our britain hub as one of the team leaders.

we set up the pioneer mission training in 2010 and it’s grown steadily a little at a time such that we offer a whole range of awards validated by durham university through common awards and a dth through roehanpton university. i love what we do, and it’s a joy and privilege to encourage and support pioneers and innovators. it’s really how we have helped build a movement. do have a look and pass on to anyone you know who might be interested.
i have had a very settled team at cms for quite some time but this year there are changes. cathy ross has been the lead and done an amazing job – she is not actually leaving the team, she will continue to teach but feels the time is right to hand on the leading to soneone else. sarah, our undergrad programme lead is also moving on this summer – i have enjoyed working with her. we’ll appoint the lead role first and then with them, look at the shape of the team before further appointments.

yesterday it was announced that cms have a new ceo – andy roberts. he is on the slt at the moment so i know him well. he is someone whose life has been involved in mission, he has helped shape the new strategic direction, so will be great to build on that. so lots of change going on!
