i am heading to kirchentag in hannover first thing tomorrow which I am looking forward to. it’s a huge christian festival that happens every few years. i have been invited to take part in a panel on saturday 3pm entitled ‘what if there were no church?’ which sounds like it should be fun. we explore playfully I hope that idea. it’s a response to the sense of loss perhaps that the church feels for what has and is passing but also a look at some of the newness that is emerging. i have been really slow to post this but if anyone is around and wants to meet up I am around fri and sat most of the day and a free agent. i have got myself an invite to a fresh expressions gathering so that’s a good start, as well as meeting a couple of friends. i first visited hannover when harry was a gap year student i think in 2013. and then once more in 2017 at what was an amazing gathering of innovators called w@nder so it will be nice to be back.
