bob carlton sent me a link to this movie from steve johnson who has a new book out on where ideas come from. he’s suggesting that they gestate and grow over a period of time often years beginning with a slow hunch. this chimes in with my own experience. sometimes when we are planning i realise i have had something bubbling away in the back of my mind waiting for the right moment. he also suggests that connectivity helps creativity because our half baked ideas collide with other hunches…
