phil durrant is a student training to lead a church and spent time on placement with church from scratch and has recorded a video diary which is the stand out piece for me. it’s a really good video and sounds like church from scratch is a gritty real church that is a network of small mission groups/communities… phil sums up the church with 5 words – real, jesus-centred, fluid, messy, southendish (the place where it is).
