congrats to mark cavendish on a brilliant sprint on the champs elysee yesterday in the final stage of the tour de france. winning 6 stages in a tour is incredible! he simply seems to be the fastest sprinter on the planet winning by a margin i can't remember ever seeing! and who would have thought that bradley wiggins could make fourth?! again a brilliant ride. i thought it was a great tour. what am i going to do each night at 7pm now?
another tour over

Cavendish is good, but it still wasn’t good enough to win the green jersey! I actually thought it was a phenomenal effort from Hushovd, with less support from his team to win some key sprints over Cavendish. Plus his effort on that climb was fantastic.
Sorry, you were probably just trying to be parochial and an Aussie (who needs something other than cricket to talk about) tries to ruin it.
does hushovd have a team? – he just free loads on columbia’s lead out – a parasite!!!! but he is a good rider. i can’t understand how you have a sprint competition that the best sprinter (who wins a mind blowing 6 stages) doesn’t win and a mountain competition that the two best climbers don’t win (schleck and contador)?! we used to love watching robbie mcewen – seems like cav has taken his mantle…
reminded me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQz-CZvkY8k

love the kraftwerk track (and album!) but you’ve reminded how much youtube annoys me because of the quality of the video. here’s one on vimeo – http://www.vimeo.com/4110938
