a week or so back we had an overnight team meeting in clanfield near oxford. it was an incredibly foggy morning (yes more fog i’m afraid) so of course i had to get up and take some photos. the set is here – clanfield morning. i don’t know what it is about this photo but is definitely my favourite – the simplicity maybe…
It’s delightfully ambiguous. At first glance it’s almost a seascape, with the frost on the grass the white breakers.
It’s a lovely pic, thanks for sharing.
This photo makes me think of a Rothko painting.
That’s what I love about the pic – you don’t know where the land, sea and air end – it all kind of blends together … kewl.
this photo makes me think about chocolate cake and cream…………..nice !
i very nearly called it cake!!! i prefer the rothko thought though 😉
it is kind of weird if you stare into the mist for a bit – it becomes quite 3D and makes your eyes go strangely squinty – i should be an art critic you know !?!
reminds me of being out in the peaks at night after a couple of beers with NO light, street or sky.
it was obviously a lot darker, and felt very clostrophobic. amazing.
your pic is now gracing my desktop – thanks
