tour de france prologue in london

it was wonderful to have the tour de france start in london this year. i headed in for the prologue on saturday which was brilliant. it was a beautiful day and london is such an iconic location for someting like this. i took a camera and found taking photos quite a challenge with the crowds and the speed the cyclists go by. but having sifted through i have uploaded about 30 photos to a tour de france flickr set. i was pleased i managed to get some of the big shots – mcewan, hincapie, kloeden, vinakourov, wiggins, mayo and millar. anyway judge for yourself. my favourite pics i think are georgeconcentration | cameratastic | corner | behind| get down | entourage. we’ll be following the tour on itv 4’s coverage i’m sure…

steve was there and has added a set of pics too…
