following the last picture in black and white, inspired by larry (a photographer who was at gsd) who had some amazing black and white photos, and because there was this old building that had stuff in that just had to look better in black and white i have uploaded a dozen more black and white photos to the croatia 2007 set on flickr. getting arty eh?!
and i won’t be blogging about the football… 🙁
a great set, the b/w works well and this shot captures a great angle. Good eye Mr.Baker. As for the football, I have a broad smile but promise not to gloat!
Case of ‘Blog when you’re winning, eh?!’
Not that I’m saying anything… all to do tonight. ‘Ho paura.’
Great set of photos. I really like b/w images. Hubby isn’t happy about the footie either 🙁
As always the photos you recommend are good. But there must be a reflection on Mourinho, mind games, oligarchs, their cheque books and missing penalties –
never mind, you’ll never walk alone as someone or rather thousands sang
Gloat? Moi?
Hey Jonny, sounds like you’re having a fab time – I’m ever-so-slightly envious!
Really like some of your b&w photos too.
I happened to be by the radio last night & heard the footie results – must confess I smirked (actually I laughed out loud!) as I thought of your sad face in front of a Croation telly. Sorry – couldn’t help it.
Look forward to hearing more about it when you’re back.
We had an evening of black and white photography at church on sunday night. We opened up the space to a local club, and we had an exhibition launch event instead of the usual service. It worked really well, thinking about image and truth, and visual worship. There’s a flickr set here if you want to take a look: http://www.flickr.com/photos/greentimbuktu/sets/72157600161436379/
why do people find it funny when someones team gets knocked out of a competition!?
my man utd friends are amongst the most annoying offenders! hard luck chelsea… liverpool were the best on the night.
but penalties… that’s painful. at least arsenal got beaten roundly!
