lance armstrong starts the tour de france in emphatic style – will it be no 7?…
but the highlight for me was a visit to the custard factory in birmingham for the re:source day creating church in the emerging culture. about 80 people showed up which nearly filled the venue. with a mix of stories from emerging churches, andrew jones in fine form on bud emergence, yeast, the kingdom, luke 10 and the world of new media, pall singh leading worship and meeting lots of people doing great stuff. also met pip piper of osbd for a catch up at the end which topped the day off nicely.
i left buzzing feeling excited about re:source and the future. looking forward to the next year long course starting in january 06. hoping that it develops into a really good network of people doing mission and church planting in the emerging culture over the next few years. and i hope we go back to the custard factory – what a cool venue!
