following yesterday’s bombings anything i post or say seems trivial (which of course it is) but london attempts to get moving again today and life must go on…

thanks to everyone who e-mailed or texted or commented or phoned. i found it quite overwhelming that so many people thought of us and our family and friends.

this saturday we have our annual grace bbq at st marys vicarage (thanks steve and jenny for letting us use the garden). we’ll put a note on the church door with directions (it’s just behind the church). starts at 7pm rather than the usual 8pm. love to see anyone and everyone there to end what has been another wonderful year in the life of grace (we still seem to think and plan in school years). september will see the launch of some reshaping of grace particularly in the way we structure our life together though the services will be continuing at the same times as this year (and we are being added to a new church notice board so we’d better keep those times for a while!)

i was sad i missed the last two vaux events, but of course steve has taken some photos here and here. blessings for the next stage of the journey for those who were part of vaux – beki, kester, jenny, nic, susie, john, jeremy, rebeccah, tim, naz (and those i didn’t know or have forgotten) – keep on dreaming. thanks for what you have gifted to god and the rest of us.
