si smith is involved in creating an exhibition for advent with 25 artists contributing pieces on themes such as joseph, donkey, angel gabriel etc much as you would find in an advent calendar. leftbank leeds is an old church that is being transformed into an arts space. i remembering talking to a few people in leeds about it a couple of years back when it was a dream but looks like the dream is taking shape. i have no doubt the exhibition will be brilliant. if you're anywhere near that part of the world put it in your diary and watch the blog as the work unfolds…
