it felt good to drive away from the office today knowing i won’t be back until september…
this weekend i am headed off to the big chill with joel and harry. the weather has suddenly turned summery and the bbc 5 day forecast for ledbury (which is nearby) is sun sun sun sun and sun – wahoo!
then two weeks family holiday.
then a quick turnaround before greenbelt. as ever gayle and i have been co-ordinating the worship programme for the festival and hope it will go swimmingly well. the new forms venue has the indulge cafe this year being run by mooters and others which is a new venture. there’s lots more space in the programme so that could be the place to go and meet people (as well as the organic beer tent of course). the coffee will be good.
i’ll also be busy in the pulse venue where proost have a stand – come and say hi! to celebrate our tenth year we’ll be launching the new proost web site. as well as music we have branched into publishing books – the first is a series of pocket liturgies with 4 that will be on display – and movies. it’s all looking fab – we’re kind of excited… content will be downloadable. we will finally have payment available via card or paypal. and we are offering an annual subscription that will give access to the back catalogue as well as new monthly content through the year. every spare moment is going into proost at the moment but i hope it’s worth it. watch this space. once it is there i’ll let you know
anyway happy summer…
this blog(ger) will be slowing down for a while.
Will miss Greenbelt this year, as I will be here in Burkina – at a kids’ camp if I can get there through the flooded roads. Best wishes to you & to Adam and kathy.
The New Forms cafe sounds great. Hope we’ll see you at GB.
Have fun at The Big Chill.
thanks ben – look forward to catching up.
