to be honest it made me feel the same way about the majority of my own blogs! 🙂
just thought you might like to read something by the folks you are gullible enough to think its so cool to raise money for:
The Palestinians in their own words:
Raise more money please.
Hamas Video:
We will drink the blood of the Jews
The Hamas website this week presented the parting video messages of two Hamas suicide terrorists. One message was for Jews, whose blood Hamas promises to drink until Jews “leave the Muslim countries,”
“My message to the loathed Jews is that there is no god but Allah, we will chase you everywhere! We are a nation that drinks blood, and we know that there is no blood better than the blood of Jews. We will not leave you alone until we have quenched our thirst with your blood, and our children’s thirst with your blood.

Btw, I am not deluded enough to think that my effort to raise your conciousness on the issue is going to make any difference.
But I just think its better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.
for any readers wondering what on earth that comment was about on a post about beginning a blog it relates to this post – http://cleave.blogs.com/pomomusings/2006/02/bethlehem_victi.html
adam has helped raise money to help 3 families whose homes have been demolished by the israeli army (a regular occurence btw). my part was to contribute 25 CDs to be sold telling the story of the palestinians. the vitriol adam has received over the last 6 months for telling stories of palestinians on his blog is shameful.
callie thank you. i could of course find a zionist web site and quote how the land is theirs as a god given right and therefore the palestinians are to be driven out in the name of god and the demolition of houses is god’s will…
there are extremists on both sides, but my experience is that the majority want to find a way to live in peace with their neighbours. that at least was the impression i got when i visited and stayed with jews and palestinians. i pray for peace and justice…
next time you comment please do so in an appropriate place – i.e. if it relates to the blog entry.
