extended report from BBC Songs of Praise presenter Pam Rhodes as she
discovers how CMS has been involved in the relief effort since the
Asian tsunami struck. Anita Matthews, CMS’s national children’s work
adviser, will bring you a faith reflection on the tsunami, and you’ll

Content OK – but lacking any real content (ie real people speaking about real situations or real sound effects)so ultimately misses out on the real advantages of a podcast.
Technically it is dire – Pam Rhodes sounds like she has a lisp and the sibilants are very promiment throughout – guess whoever produced it has yet to learn how to prepare MP3 material which tends to emphasise such problems – which is maybe one of the disadvantages of jumping on technical advances without the resources that the BBC and others have at their disposal.
Will be interested to see if it improves or simply dies the death of a novelty – I am sure that it has great potential which could be realised
