i feel proud… emergingchurch.info is one year old. a few of us conceived the idea of a space for storytelling, reflection and discussion on emerging church. (in fact i remember my very first day at CMS two years ago was going to a meeting to discuss the idea in nottingham). we dreamed a bit, we scrabbled around for money (and still do!), and we found the wonderful adrian riley who has done the most brilliant job of designing and updating the site. go buy him a beer! this month’s issue focuses on branding.
when adrian mentioned the idea i buzzed him some grace logos that we have done over the years from toast to fairy cakes and he’s made them into a feature grace looks like this…. vaux have an article on total worship: the vaux identity. i love vaux – it’s a brilliant piece – their look/identity is really stunning and always has been. the irony is that before vaux existed one of their anonymous workers designed the grace logo!!! no more tea vicar is an interview with steve collins on his vision for CoffEe.
what a great issue… thanks to everyone who has written, read, discussed, added a blog, told people about the site etc… today i feel all warm and fuzzy…
happy birthday!
Yeah, happy Birthday Emerging Church info. Thanks for putting the work into the site, I love it.
