sun and sea

pp1_smallhave just got back from a week away with the family in cornwall at a place called perranporth where we caught a great combination of relaxing, sea, surf and sun… i have uploaded a photo album of sun and sea. these are all taken in the evening.

pp2_smallperranporth beach has a pub called the watering hole (which amazingly has a good selection of belgian ales!) which is an ideal way to end the day watching the sun go down over the sea. i relaise that for some the sun setting is an overused image but it was stunning. most of the photos are taken by joel and harry. it made me realise that the tate weather project whilst brilliant in the space and perfect for city dwellers was actually a pale reflection of the real thing…

those of you who have e-mailed me or whatever it will take me a few days to catch up. i managed to pretty much avoid the internet for the week – no wireless to be found in cornwall it seemed! the posts that went up on the blog last week were written in advance – just catching up on a few bits and pieces. anyway i’m back into action….
