spiritual tourism is an article in today’s guardian newspaper on the rise of spiritual seekers but the way it is tending to be a consumer spirituality. this ties in totally with what steve hollinghurst concludes in his grove booklet that i blogged about the other day. the article concludes with these words…

    Hey jonny! Stuck at Gatwick waiting for a plane to Amsterdam and I find myself reading your blog on chocolate spirituality! It reminds me of that great Deacon Blue song, Chocolate Girl… “cos he thinks she melts when he touches her”, bit like the church!?
