radiohead at earls court

i’m all excited!!!! off to see radiohead at earls court tonight…

the guardian review of a concert earlier this week gave them a 5 star rating and concluded by saying

On record, Radiohead’s wayward electronic experimentation can leave the listener feeling shut out and unwanted. Hearing it played live is a revelation. The digital beeps and blips acquire the force of hammer blows, while the electric piano chords sound as if they were being beamed in from another galaxy.

But of course, the band’s trump card is their abundance of classic, genre-bending rock songs, their arsenal of Creeps and Paranoid Androids that leave most of tonight’s audience gibbering as if their very lives have been saved. Astonishing.

Enjoy mate. I wish I was there. Watched them in a televised concert from Glastonbury…very, very, very good. I echo the reviewers comments. I only hope that one day they put out a live DVD that captures something of the real thing… 🙂

Saw them play a couple months ago here in the San Francisco bay area. Awesome show — their creativity astounds me.

Traveled all the way from Afghanistan to see them at Earls Court and it was worth every cent.
I could have sat through the routine all over again and maybe three times…just like I do with the new CD.
