thanks for the encouraging comments everyone who has posted. had a few questions so some answers…..

the articles that i link to on the old blog – i will be leaving the old blog there so all those links will remain. but i intend to run a category on the left called articles which i will begin by adding those articles to. as i’ve only just started with typepad i’m not exactly sure how it works yet but i hope that category will be archived so if anyone wants to follow the articles thread they can by just clicking on the category. i haven’t got enough posts yet to know how the archiving will work in practice. anyone been there?

in terms of the stuff on the old blog, i have cut and paste the links. but there is an option to import files so it may be possible to import your archives from an old blog? i haven’t had the time to read up on this yet but again if anyone has been there let me know – save some mistakes!
