One of the most humbling experiences of my life was trying to get from Bethlehem to Jerusalem – chilled me to the bone.
I did a posting for God’s Politics about Christian consumerism (http://blog.beliefnet.com/godspolitics/2007/12/what-would-jesus-buy-by-becky.html). At the end, I put down some suggestions for Christmas gifts that people could give that would help those in the Holy Land. The gift that brought tears to my eyes were the glass ornaments and jewelry made from broken glass as a result of the Israeli occupation.
No doubt, Banksy-inspirational gifts…
